Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is investing $50 million to renovate more than 760 rooms and suites. The project also includes upgrades to common areas and the addition of two new restaurants.
Renovations are already underway. Most of the work is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
George Goldhoff, president of Hard Rock Atlantic City, said the upgrades will strengthen overnight visitation. The improvements are designed to capture more casino guests seeking on-site accommodations.
The property originally reopened in June 2018 after a $500 million transformation. It replaced the former Trump Taj Mahal, which closed in 2016.
The Taj Mahal was developed and once owned by Donald Trump. Hard Rock International later acquired the property for $50 million and repositioned it as a modern casino resort.
The latest renovation signals continued investment in the Atlantic City hospitality market. Operators remain focused on enhancing guest experience and driving year-round demand.
