Fulfillment Center be part of the Atlantic City Race Course Redevelopment

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP — A fulfillment center could be part of the redevelopment of the Atlantic City Race Course. The Township Committee has approved an amended redevelopment agreement with potential buyers, Patriot Equities, allowing a fulfillment center among the uses for the 250-acre site.

Fulfillment centers, which pack and ship goods to customers, can range from small facilities to large operations like Amazon’s 1 million-square-foot center in Carneys Point, Salem County. The property, currently owned by Greenwood ACRA of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, is valued at $4.25 million, according to county records.
