AtlantiCare Health System announced an ambitious plan to invest $1 billion in expanding services at its Jersey Shore hospitals and aims to double its annual revenue to $2 billion within the next six years.

Key initiatives include partnering with the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Institute, establishing a Drexel University College of Medicine branch campus, upgrading its information technology systems through Oracle Health, and introducing a neurosciences program in collaboration with Global Neurosciences Institute based in Philadelphia.

Additionally, AtlantiCare plans to construct a cardiac-care tower, a children’s hospital, and a dedicated behavioral health facility on its Galloway campus, situated 13 miles northwest of Atlantic City. These projects are currently in the early planning stages.
