Post Brothers Propose $3 Billion New Neighborhood for Atlantic City

Atlantic City Bader Field Development

A pair of big-name Philadelphia developers are teaming up to propose a $3 billion mixed-use project at Bader Field in Atlantic City, the latest plan pitched for the long-vacant site.

The proposal from Tower Investments CEO Bart Blatstein and Post Brothers’ CEO Michael Pestronkand President Matt Pestronk calls for 10,000 residential units, 200,000 square feet of retail space and 100,000 square feet of office space. The project would include 20 acres of open space and a 100-room hotel.

Bader Field, a 140-acre site once home to the country’s first municipal airport, hasn’t been used for planes since the mid-2000s. Any development proposal on the city-owned site would require government approval.
