The city recently installed two new electric vehicle charging stations in the parking lot behind the library building off New Haven Avenue and introduced an ordinance establishing fees for exceeding the permitted parking time at these spots. Parking at Level 2 or 3 charging stations is only allowed for actively charging electric vehicles.
